today’s set up. i just carved that piece of wood just now too,
it’s April now, i have been consistently networking in the French Quarter since March. i have been with a family of friends that’s filled with artists, vagabonds, dreamers, poets, street magicians galore.
properly we explored the streets getting our art into the faces of who would look, and our stories of life gauged upon our sobriety.
the beautiful part of exploring the land of New Orleans is that so many come for arts, many come for culture, and everyone comes for a story.
what’s been happening lately is that i begin taking time asking what others find in art and what pulls them in and documenting why connection leads to purchasing.
this is Cory,
Cory was special. he made it so that our paths would cross again, he wanted to claim an original piece from me. it doesn’t happen too often i let go an original.
meet Yvonne, another philanthropist and Corys girlfriend.
together they spoiled me Monday- we shared coffee and beignets at City Park, ”twas a very marvelous meeting
we discussed our appreciation for art and the phenomenon of why we collect it. Yvonne said the joy of being able to sit back and admire the work as a time capsule is one of her reasons to collect art.
the fresh sense of adventure each day. strengthening our artistic skill in the french quarter of louisiana.
growing up id make my casual adventures here, and slowly it consumed me. it’s good to always make your way to the core of inspiration,
near the end of february it was a bit tough, having friends to be lost with helped.
they are okay sometimes.
